Allie's meeting with Santa.

So as most of you know, Allie is normally a very social and unintimidated kid. She will talk to anyone, give high 5's to anyone, you name it. When we go shopping it always takes at least 30 minutes longer than it should because she is such a social butterfly. She even loves the characters at Disneyland.
Well apparently Santa is on a completely different level than anyone, or anything else she comes in contact with. I took her to see Santa last Thursday and i thought she would just sit on his lap and give a huge smile while he handed her a candy cane. Boy was i WRONG. I sat her down on his lap and she screamed. You'll see with the attached picture. Apparently she was so upset with him that the next night we took her to a church Christmas party where Santa came out to see the kids, and she would not have anything to do with him. If we took a step toward the direction he was in she would try and reach for whoever was furthest from him, and in all reality we wern't that close. Jimmy asked her if she wanted to see Santa and she emphatically said "NO"!!!!! and then buried her head in his shoulder so she couldn't even see him.

Allie meeting some famous people

Allie's first dance class
Allie just started her very first dance class. She is having a blast so far. The thing is, at her age she is quite a bit more independent than most kids. Most of the kids in her class pretty much cling to their parents, who then can show their kids what to do. Allie on the other hand has no fear of new things and is off and running the second we arrive. It is absolutely exhausting for me, but worth it if she is having fun.

Fyi_blogger is having some trouble allowing me to download the pics of this and the Hockey thing so please revisit soon and check them out when this thing starts working again.

Face off Fest

Last night Jimmy and I took Allie to the Face off Fest for the Ducks. Its just a thing they do every year for season ticket holders to come and meet players and they have all kinds of fun things and free food, etc. Anyway we got to meet Chris Pronger and Sean O'Donnell, and Sammy Pahlsson and Travis Moen. We got pretty close but didn't quite get to meet Ryan Getzlaf and Todd Marchant but we did get a picture of the 2 of them.
Anyway the really exciting part is we got a picture of Allie with Pronger and Pahlsson. Pronger was more than happy to do it however Pahlsson kind of just said we could take it as long as we make it quick. He still smiled for the camera though.

My little pumpkin lover

Jimmy and I took Allie to the pumpkin patch last Thursday after we found out she was going to have a baby brother. She has so much fun. She would try and pick up a pumpkin that was too big and look at her daddy and say ughhhhh, then he would lift it up for a second and she would giggle. Then she would run to a pumpkin that she could lift and take off with it. It was so much fun to watch her go crazy and having such a good time. I am going to try and attach some pictures, but i am not too good at this yet, so they may come later.
Enjoy

ITS A BABY.........

Yesterday I had my ultrasound. Everything looks good, the baby is growing perfectly, and...............ITS A BOY. I am so excited to have a boy since i already have my girl. I have to say though, i went shopping yesterday and its really hard for me to stay focused on the boy clothes. I guess it will just take me some practice.

i finally am doing it

ok so i'm finally doing it. i don't really have anything much to say but here we go.

Allie is doing well, except for a couple colds and some fire ant bites, but she takes everything in stride. Saturday we went to Disneyland to see all the Halloween decorations and it was raaaainging hard. it didn't bother me at all because being pregnant i am always hot so it was actually kind of nice, but Allie and Jimmy getting soaked wasn't as good.

on to a new subject....we get to find out if we are having a boy or a girl on October 11th. Yeah!!! we cant wait.

Jimmy loves his job, still plays ice hockey, and forces at least one football game on me per week, but he does have to put up with Dancing with the Stars, and So you think you can Dance. although if you ask me i think he likes the SYTYCD.

So basically things are good, and of course we all hope things are well with you.
